What are the differences between different makes
of inline skates?
It's a common
mistake to announce that all inline skates are pretty similar
if not the same. The differences, while some may be small will
all decide how well you perform in yor chosen skating
activity.
If, perhaps,
you're interested in aggressive skating then you won't need to
go for those inline skates that were meant to be used speed
skating for example. Aggressive skating is a more casual form
of skating so when choosing the bearings for example you could
get away with choosing those with the lowest bearing precision
rating. If you're looking for cheap aggressive roller skates or
cheap inline speed skates then have a sniff around google,
there seem to be some good bargains to be had these
days.
Inline skates wholesale
distributors
A good way to
get around some of the higher prices is to look for an inline
skates wholesale distributor - buy in bulk and sell to your
friends or on ebay and you'll end up with a decent
discount!
Some of the
most popular inline skates at the moment are the rollerblade
roadrunner inline skates. These little beauties are designed
for competitive speed skaters - so let's get on to speed
skating...
If you feel
you're good enough to take part in speed skating then,
naturally, you'll need only the finest precision bearings and
gear of a much higher grade than if inline skating is your
thing. In recent times ceramic bearings are becoming thought of
as superior to the traditional stainless steel - so that's
something else to consider.
It's
important to remember then that not all skates are equal and it
is vitally important to make sure you customise them rather
than buying the first pair from the shelf.
Nordic walking anyone?
On a side
note, one of the newer forms of inline skating is nordic
walking with inline skates. It's sometimes termed nordic
blading and is very useful for your overall fitness. You can
find more information about that here
